We have published reports based on the analysis of the questionnaires and of the interviews, a final overview report and one about the impact the project had on all those involved, including participants.

We have conducted interviews, then had them transcribed. We then proceeded to do a thematic analysis across these interviews. Our thanks to all the interviewees.

Our paper Accessing services and social interaction: strategies used by autistic people has been accepted for publication in the forthcoming The Neurodiversity Reader.
August 2019
Marion attended the Autism Europe International Congress 2019 and discussed some of the strategies identified by our questionnaire to autistic people in a presentation titled Expertise and strategies used by autistics to overcome barriers (pdf). Callum, Marion and Zyggy presented at the Autistica conference a poster titled Obtaining Access to Services: Barriers and Solutions (pdf) with some preliminary results from our questionnaire.

Marion Hersh was guest speaker at the Socially Competent Robot (@socoro2017) project’s end of year meeting at Heriot-Watt University and gave a summary of our preliminary results which went really well.
